Limited Edition Birkin Faubourg

The Only Real Estate We're Interested In Investing In

The Birkin Faubourg is one of the most recognizable, rarest and coveted of Hermès Limited Editions. It’s modeled after the facade of the Paris flagship store at 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore, which has been the home of Hermès since 1880.

Each Faubourg is 20 centimeters, a size specially introduced for this model only, and each one is sleek Sellier, a style only released in 2019 and typically less commonly seen on Birkins.

The exquisite detailing of the bag includes brickwork, windowpanes, little orange awnings protruding from the bag and a clochette that looks like the iconic Hermès’ sac orange shopping bag.

The Faubourg was released in two colors in 2019, with reportedly only 50 pieces made, though we believe it to be more than this. A Gold version represents the boutique during the day and a Deep Blue version represents it in the evening. In 2020, a midnight version in Black was released and in 2021 a snowy white version followed.

Each Faubourg features a mix of leathers.

The brown daytime edition features a Gold Madame leather body, Swift awnings, and clochette in the brand’s signature color: Orange, Craie Epsom window panes, Brulee Sombrero for the line detailing, Ebene Sombrero for the base and Ebene Matte Alligator for the flap and handles.

The blue evening edition is a combination of a Deep Blue Madame, Orange Swift, Craie Epsom, both Blue Indigo and Blue Obscur Sombrero and Bleu Marine Matte Alligator.

In a reverse of the other three, the snowy edition has an exotic skin body, made of Matte Beton Alligator and the flap is White Togo.

While the others feature Palladium hardware, the midnight edition has Black hardware, like the iconic So Black.

The black and white editions appear to be the rarest, but getting your hands on any of these pieces is remarkably difficult.
